Montclair Village Summer Art Walk is in its 43rd year and celebrates art in the outdoors with more than 65 artists from the Bay Area and beyond will display their work along the sidewalks and against the scenic backdrop of Montclair Village and the Oakland Hills.

National Doughnut Day is supposedly a real holiday created in 1938 by the Salvation Army to honor volunteers who served doughnuts to soldiers during World War I.

In celebration, Krispy Kreme is offering a free donut of any variety this day at all participating stores. No purchase is necessary, but remember, it’s just one free doughnut per person.
