![]() Author Nikki Meredith will discuss her recent book, The Manson Women & Me: Monsters, Morality & Murder in a live interview conducted by her daughter, Caitlin Meredith. Part memoir and part true-crime narrative, The Manson Women and Me is an unflinching examination of Leslie Van Houten and Patricia Krenwinkel, two seemingly normal young women who took a dark journey into the very heart of evil. Nikki Meredith is an award-winning journalist whose work has appeared in The Pacific Sun, The Marin Independent Journal, Psychology Today, The San Francisco Examiner and Chronicle, and California Living, among others. She is a former probation officer, a licensed family therapist, and a former NPR reporter. Caitlin Meredith, Nikki’s daughter, has a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Texas and a master’s in Public Health from Tulane. She has worked in the Actual Innocence clinic at the University of Texas law school, and currently works as a criminal legal defense consultant.
