UNAFF 2021 Moving Forward, International Documentary Film Festival returns!

9/30/2021

24th United Nations Association Film Festival
October 21-31, 2021 * Palo Alto * East Palo Alto
* San Francisco * Stanford University

  • UNAFF is delighted to announce the 24th UNAFF (United Nations Association Film Festival), which was founded in 1998 by Stanford educator and film critic Jasmina Bojic in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

  • After moving online in 2020 because of Covid-19, the festival is excited to return to its regular in-person format this year. In order to provide a safe experience to the audience and  community at large, UNAFF has devised Covid-19 protocols in accordance with the guidelines of the County and State; UNAFF asks the audience, staff, guests, panelists and volunteers to read them and help uphold them.

  • The 24th UNAFF will be held from October 21-31, 2021. This year’s theme MOVING FORWARD continues the festival's more than two-decade-long celebration of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, emphasizing its readiness to resume resolute strides towards lasting solutions.
